What brought you to Wasafiri?
I joined in search of new challenges and experiences, and Wasafiri did not fail me in that. They say, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” That is what I have felt all the time with my work at Wasafiri.
What are you working on currently?
I’m currently working with a large programme tackling violent extremism in East Africa where I am currently supporting knowledge and learning for partners in the coastal region of Kenya. I’m passionate about my role and the real change I am helping creating within different communities.
What are you looking forward to working at Wasafiri the most?
I’m looking forward to opportunities to develop my skills to make an impact that I can see with my own eyes. Of course, my role is only part of the equation. Being at a company whose culture is largely diverse, I can drive my own personal growth and collectively work toward something that matters, too. Wasafiris’ goal “Together we can tackle humanity’s toughest problems” inspires me, and I’m really excited about this opportunity.
