Jenny Costelloe

Jenny leads Wasafiri’s work on Business and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), based out of Wasafiri’s UK office.

Jenny brings over 20 years of experience working with the private sector – 11 of which were spent in Southeast Asia, where predominantly she advised a range of companies on sustainable development and responsible business models. During her time in Asia, Jenny also spent two years as Director, Country Partnerships, with the World Economic Forum’s “Grow Asia” platform, brokering high-level partnerships for sustainable and inclusive agriculture. She is passionate about how the private sector can contribute towards sustainable development, particularly through cross-sector partnerships.

She holds a BSc in Natural Sciences (Physics) from the University of Bath and an MBA (Strategy) from Nanyang Business School in Singapore. Jenny is an affiliate of The Partnering Initiative and is vice-chair of a Singapore-based charity – The Island Foundation – which focuses on education in coastal communities in Indonesia. She is a keen public speaker and regularly lectures on executive education programmes.

In her spare time, Jenny can be found wandering around the galleries of London, setting off on another adventure travel holiday, or just out walking her beloved dog.
